Differences in Domestic Politics

Personal Backgrounds

                     Donald Trump

Donald Trump, on the other hand, was born in one of the wealthiest families in New York. He came from an influential, White American background and had a privileged upbringing including tenures as a student at Fordham University and Wharton School unlike Modi, who had to contend with distance education for his Bachelor's degree.
                     Narendra Modi

Narendra Modi came from humble origins and spent much of his early life in what can best be described as underprivileged circumstances. He is often portrayed as a working-class chai-wallah (tea-seller) by his supporters, and it is thought that he did spend some part of his early life selling tea at railway stations. He belongs to a traditionally 'backward' class of Indian society and rose very gradually through right-wing and student politics.
